Sales -> Configuration -> Settings -> Quotations & Orders

How to Create Sales Quotation In Odoo17

To create a Sales quotation, go to the Odoo sales module and click New. Start with the customer’s name in the Customer, this is a required field.

Invoice and delivery address fields auto-fill with your saved details. Referrer field is used if the customer was referred by another customer. Select a Sales Quotation Template from the drop-down field to apply to this sales quotation. Some additional fields might appear depending on the selected template.

The default date appears in the Expiration field. This is based on the number configured in the default quotation validity setting. If the sales quotations is for a recurring product, choose the desired Recurring Plan, choose a specific price list that can be used for this quotation, And last choose any Payment Terms to be used for the quotation.

Order Lines Tab in Sales Module

The order line tab is the first tab on the Sales quotations tab. In this tab, you can select the product and quantity of those products, to add to the Sales quotations. There are two ways to add products to the sales quotations form. The first method is to click on Add a product and select from the drop-down field, adjust the quantity, etc

Another method is to click Catalog to get a separate page of every item

From here, to locate the items, click the Add button on the product card. Adjust the quantity accordingly. When complete you can go back to the Quotation button to return to the sales quotations, where the product chosen can be found in the order lines tab.

If there are multiple items and you want to make them organized, click Add a section, enter a name for the section, and drag and drop the section heading in the needed location. The section heading appears in bold. Then click Add a note under a particular product line to add a custom note about that particular product. The note appears in italics. Then you can drag-and-drop the note under the desired product line. It also contains options like Coupon Code, Promotions, Discount, or Add shipping.
