Rental Orders in Odoo17
When using the creation page, you have the option to enter the Customer’s name, Referral source, Invoice Address, Delivery Address, Expiration date, Recurrence, Pricelist, and Payment Terms.
Quotation template option is now available in Odoo 17 Rental Orders module under configuration. You can see the tabs including Order lines, Other Info, and Notes. You can see a list of products, a description of the product, the quantity of the product, the unit price, taxes, the amount of the discount, and the subtotal under the Order Lines option.
You can add a new product to the provided list by selecting the Add a line option. When you select a specific item from the provided list, a new window similar to the one shown below will appear.
After adding the additional item to the list, you will see the updated total rent costs. The remaining procedures follow the same steps as in the sales order.

This section includes options for sales, invoicing and payments, deliveries, and tracking. Under the Sales section, you can specify the Salesperson, Sales Team, Company Name, Online Payment and Signature Confirmations, Customer Reference, associated Tags, and Start Date. In the Invoicing and Payments section, you can enter details for Fiscal Position and Analytical Account. The Delivery section allows you to set the Shipping Policy and Delivery Date. Finally, in the Tracking section, you can specify the Campaign, Medium, Source, and Source Document.
Under the n tab, you can add internal remarks about the rental items. Once all essential information is entered, you can access the save icon. After saving, the created quotation order can be sent via email, as shown below.
Once mail is sent , you can confirm the rental order. And you will be able to see the delivery at the top of the form. Once you clicked on that you will be able to see the corresponding deliveries as shown below.
Once you validate these transfers you can create the invoice and you can see the created invoice below.
Then you can confirm the invoice and register the payement.

The creation page allows you to upload various details. In the designated fields, you can enter the product’s name and upload an image specific to that product. By activating the available options, the product can now be marked as sellable, purchasable, expendable, recurring, and rentable.old, bought, expended, recurring, and rented by activating it. You need to enable the option labeled Can be Rented.
A variety of tabs are now available for entering product-related information. Under the General Information tab, you can choose the Product Type using the drop-down menu. For the Invoice Policy, you can select either Ordered Quantity or Delivered Quantity. Additionally, you can specify the Units of Measure, Purchase UoM, Sales Price, and Customer Taxes in the designated fields.
Further options include TaxCloud Category, AvaTax Category, Product Category, Internal Reference, Barcode, product-related Tags, and Company Name. You can make a message about the product in the INTERNAL NOTES section which is highlighted in the screenshot above.
You can add a new price by using the Add a Price button on the Rental Pricing tab, as shown in the image below. adding fee depends on the lease duration nb.
