Managing Salesperson Commission in Odoo18 Sales

So now the user needs to change the configuration. First, enable the Commissions field.
Configuration > Settings > Commissions
Once you’ve made all the adjustments, hit the Save button to lock in your changes. After the changes are made, you get a brand-new Commissions menu right under the Products menu
How to Create New Commissions Plan In Odoo18
Let’s create a new Commissions Plan now for that click on the Commission Plans In the list view, you can see a commission plan there, with the name, type, periodicity, company name, start and end dates, and state.
Enter the commission plan name in the designated field and Choose whether the plan will be Target or Achievement, applicable to either a salesperson or a sales team. Next, specify the On Target Commission (OTC), define the start and end dates for the period, and set the payment frequency for the commission.
New Commission Level Button In Odoo18 Sales
Users now have the ability to customise the commission levels under the Commission tab. Include the commission amount and the target completion percentage. To add a new commission level, simply click the Add a New Commission Level button.

It will then follow that the commission plan status will change to Approved as seen in the following screenshot. Commissions is a smart tab and under the Commission’s tab, you can see all commissions there. if the user selects the Smart Tab, all commissions will automatically captured
Orders Menu And Select Quotations In Odoo18 Sales
After the new commission plan arrangement is completed now it’s time to explore how a salesperson commission in Odoo18 can calculated for that start by creating a fresh sales order. To do this, navigate to the Orders menu and select Quotations. Here, you’ll find a list of existing quotations. to add a new one, simply click the New button and proceed.
Here the chosen customer is Deco Addict. On those sections, details such as the customer’s name, the date of expiration and payment terms are displayed. Even from the order, one can decipher that the selected product is Acoustic Bloc Screen.
Now confirm the sale order first and select the Delivery to make the end of delivery. Then validate the delivery order.
Achievement Tab In Odoo18 Sales

Now Select Adjustments from the Commission menu to add a few commission modifications and the commission menu shows the type, quantity, date, and name of the salesperson. Click the New button if the user needs to make any changes.
This time, $5,000 was included as an adjustment. and the mitchellis the Admin is the same salesperson. The type selected is Amount Invoiced, and the date is added.
